“This has been a rough year (again) in ministry and Sam's listening and gentle reflecting has been essential for me. He also laughs at my weird jokes, so that's a big plus.”
— PASTOR BECKY, Directee

For me, listening to people’s sacred stories is not a hobby, but a way of life. To walk together is to allow our journey’s to become intertwined, trusting God to be present in lived experience, yielding to the long and slow process of being formed into Christ-likeness, and watching for the Spirit’s continued movement in and through relationship. Exploring and bearing witness to these mysteries is at the heart of spiritual direction.
“Sam brings authenticity, dedicating himself to living out Benedictine values throughout all aspects of his life. Sam also brings wisdom - as an experienced director, reflecting deeply upon his practice and how he can best be present with those he accompanies.
— PETER, Colleague
“Sam has a great sense of humor and will be beside you wherever the journey leads.”
— LINZY, Colleague
